What Is the GT-CHC Clinical Employment Service?

The Greater Toronto Area Community Health Centres Clinical Employment Service (CES) is a collaborative non-profit and FREE service available to physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and many other clinical providers and clinical administrators/managers who are looking for permanent full time or part time positions as well as locum positions in Community Health Centres in the Greater Toronto Area.

The goals of the CES are:

• To recruit and refer physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other clinical providers and managers /administrators seeking permanent positions (both full and part time) to participating CHCs.
  
• To recruit and refer physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other clinical providers and managers/administrators seeking locum positions to participating CHCs; and to standardize the rate of pay for locums. The rate of pay will be the amount established by the CES Steering Committee and approved by the participating CHCs.
  
• To recruit and refer people seeking Administrative Relief positions to participating CHCs. This includes medical secretaries, clinical clerks and receptionists.
